By now, you've probably heard that reality-TV star-turned-fashion-icon Nicole Richie designed a line of funky jewelry dubbed House of Harlow 1960. The remarkably affordable collection (which was named after her daughter with Good Charlotte vocalist Joel Madden, 10-month-old Harlow) was inspired by her love of vintage baubles and fashions dating back to the 1960s and 1970s (we've seen her rockin' enough head scarves and oversized sunglasses to know she cherishes retro styles).
The bold, chunky pieces have both a rock star edge and a free-spirited, citizen-of-the-world feel (you can definitely spot African and Middle Eastern design influences in some of the offerings).
The Leather Sunburst Earrings (pictured at top) and the matching ring (which has my name on it — well, not literally, but I'm sooo buying it…) are striking pieces that will instantly add some flash to your look. The Pyramid Bangles, made of red leather and 14k gold, are also great statement pieces — available in red (pictured second from top), lime green, orange, white, or black, these saucy bracelets can be stacked on top of one another for a gypsy-esque look or worn individually for a more subdued look.
The House of Harlow line is finally available at Kitson stores and on Kitson's website starting December 5th, so place your order now. Trust me: Harlow's mama did a bang-up job!
