It's amazing how certain scents can trigger our memories. Sure, these are individual and highly personal sensory connections but, while the memories associated with different scents will differ from one person to the next, the sense of nostalgia is universal.
Carol's Daughter founder Lisa Price was inspired by this scent-to-memory connection when creating her aptly named "Reminisce" holiday kit, which includes four 0.17 oz. fragrance oils: Amandeep, Amaretto Truffle, Goddess Flower and Roses and Honey. On a separate note, all of you ladies who faithfully watch the Tyra Banks Show (or America's Next Top Model, for that matter), have probably watched (or at the very least, heard of) "Modelville," a competitive reality series that lives within the Tyra show.
In the show, a group of former ANTM contestants from various "cycles" (among them the beautiful-but-awkward Lauren from Cycle 10, NYC rep Bianca from Cycle 9, motormouth Dominique from Cycle 10, Iman lookalike Fatima from Cycle 10 and Renee from Cycle 8) live together in NYC and compete to land a modeling contract with Carol's Daughter.
