Talk about a golden opportunity. As the story goes, actress and Nickelodeon on-air personality Lily Collins met designer Mary Norton at a charity auction, and subsequently bid on the opportunity to collaborate with Norton on a new bag design. Collins, a board member at the Maple Counseling Center, decided to turn this collaboration into a philantrhopic opportunity. She suggested to Norton that they create a limited edition accessory line and donate part of the proceeds to the Maple Counseling Center, an LA-based non-profit facility that provides much-needed, low-cost counseling to couples, families and individuals.
These two one-of-a-kind, numbered and signed designs, the “Jane Ballet Flat” (named after Collins’ ballet dancer grandmother, Jane Hale) and the “Lily Bag”, are the result of their teamwork. You just can’t fake chemistry like this!
They’re only available until Jan. 2nd, so give yourself an early Christmas present!
