Say hello to the Venice hi-tops from the Five Stripes (aka K-Swiss).
The athletic footwear line, which dates back to 1966 and first became popular with tennis aficionados, is reinventing its image, tinkering with its shoe designs to offer customers more stylish, fashion-forward models. And, if these Venice hi-tops are any indication, they're stepping in the right direction (lame pun intended).
The K-Swiss Venice sneaker is available in three colorways: white/gold/green, gray/pink/dark gray, and white/purple/teal. They're all funky, but I'm partial to the white/gold/green ones: there's something dazzling about the play between those three colors — between the gold (which we affiliate with first place in athletic competitions, wealth, and fortune) and the green (which we associate with good luck and yes, those dolla dolla bills), this is the choice for those ladies who are on a paper chase this year.
You'll have to wait until late March or early April to cop these, but I figured I'd give y'all something to look forward to!
