Why Repent?: Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin
Anyone who has tried Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion knows that, once you try that, there’s no turning back. The creamy product works as a base for eyeshadows, filling in the creases and lines along the eyelids and making the surface smooth while also protecting the delicate skin around the eye from excessive drying or from any irritation. But, unlike the original Eyeshadow Primer Potion (which looks like an off-white hue on the lid), this new interpretation adds a warm, brightening hint of color.
The Sin Eyeshadow Primer Potion is a quick-drying, champagne-colored eyeshadow shade that can be worn alone or which can be layered underneath other hues. If you’re looking to add a little bit of life to your eyes and still boast an I-just-happen-to-look-this-amazing-naturally air about you, dab this on to your lids and smooth on a hint of mascara. If, instead, you’re going for a more intense look, you can apply some sultrier, deeper hues on top of this primer, adding a dot at the inner corners of the eyes so as to open them up nicely.
The formula has also been reworked so that it’s entirely vegan (all Eyeshadow Primer Potions being shipped to stores are eco-friendly), and the wand now has a slanted tip, making it much easier to apply (the straight tip could sometimes make you feel like you were poking at your eyeballs, so this is a welcome improvement!). Eco-friendly, easy-to-use, and beautiful in color, the Sin Eyeshadow Primer Potion might just be the only “sin” that leads to beauty salvation.
