Curel Giveaway: Win a Bottle of Curel Continous Comfort and Share the Gift of Caring
Cynthia Nixon (best known for her role as “Miranda” on HBO’s Sex and the City) is definitely the type to pause for a cause. The socially-minded actress just teamed up with Curél for a second time in support of the American Red Cross, launching the “Share the Gift of Caring” campaign. The campaign encourages consumers to log on to Curel.com and share a role in the philanthropic experience.
Having already donated $250,000 to the American Red Cross and pledging to donat an additional $10,000, Curél is encouraging consumers to visit the site and donate a portion of the $10,000 proceeds to a loved one — all you have to do is enter his/her e-mail address. Each click counts as $1 of that $10,000 donation (note: you yourself aren’t spending any money whatsoever, as the funds are coming from Curél, so your involvement is purely symbolic). The idea, then, is to engage consumers — not necessarily by asking them for money to donate, but by involving them in the giving process.
To celebrate the launch of the campaign, Curél has redesigned its Continuous Comfort lotion bottle, so that it features the American Red Cross symbol and commemorates this innovative effort.
And, since we’re all about giving at SickaThanAverage.com, we’re giving 5 lucky readers a chance to win a 13 fl.oz. bottle of Curél’s Continuous Comfort lotion (that’s one bottle per winner). To enter the giveaway, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Curél Giveaway” as the subject and, in the body of the e-mail, list three celebrities whose activism you admire and why you think they’re making a difference. The deadline to enter this giveaway is June 26th.
