Let me just start by confessing that I'd actually purchase these exotic, seductive bottles even if they were empty. From the jewel-toned colors (the sapphire blue, tourmaline pink, and crystal-like clear) to the mysterious quality added by the frosted glass and the containers' curvilinear shapes (which give a nod to Moroccan architecture — especially the usage of horseshoe arches), these bottles from True Blue's Morocco Collection are so exquisite you'll want to keep them way after you've finished the products contained inside. Heck, you may even peek inside to see if there's a genie in there (okay, pardon the silly joke! lol)
Fortunately, the products are just as enticing. The latest collection from True Blue lends tribute to Morocco with the usage of hydrating, nourishing and soothing ingredients native to the region: from argan oil (one of the most moisturizing substances I've ever encountered) to Moroccan rose, Moroccan clementine and Moroccan tea. The collection includes: the Honey & Date Body Yoghurt, a rich body cream; the Sweet Fig & Argan Body Lotion (pictured second from top); the Moroccan Tea & Cucumber Shower Gel; the Saffron & Fig Shower Gel (pictured at top); a Rose Petal & Orange Flower Shower Cream (pictured third from top); and a Cedarwood & Spice Waring Body Scrub.
I personally tested the three products pictured above, and I was absolutely enchanted with them. I particularly love the Saffron & Fig Shower Gel and the Sweet Fig & Argan Body Lotion. In addition to black figs and golden saffron, the Saffron & Fig Shower Gel contains shea butter to moisturize the skin, as well as Moroccan Clementine and Lemon to invigorate the senses and create a crisp olfactory experience. I find fig to boast an incredibly fresh, earthy scent (once upon a time, I hated the smell of fig but, as my nose has developed, I've come to really appreciate it) — and, when combined with the saffron and the clementine and lemon notes, the result a spicy but slightly citrus-y scent that actually makes you feel clean.
The Sweet Fig & Argan Body Lotion, meanwhile, features Vitamin E-rich argan oil, as well as moisturizing and soothing fig and shea butter, antioxidant-rich green tea, and energizing peppermint extract. The lotion has a delectable consistency — it's creamy without being too rich and milky without being watery. When you use the pump, you'll notice these slithery wisps of lotion on your hand (as opposed to most creams which just sputter a blob on your hand) and you'll get a better feel for why I find the consistency so fantastic. The scent is also delicious, with the argan oil adding an exotic, seductive element to the sweetness fo the fig. And, most importantly, it leaves your skin feeling smooth and replenished. I honestly swear by argan oil but, thus far, I've only found two products that deliver the desired results whie also creating a unique and pleasant olfactory experience: Kiehl's Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion and this product, True Blue Morocco Sweet Fig and Argan Body Lotion.
I don't know about y'all, but I plan to fill my days and nights with a bit of Arabian magic!
