Rose Bryne’s Golden Globes Hair — Styling Secrets Revealed!

Johnfrieda-ClearShine

Tonight, many of us will be glued to the TV screen for a glimpse at some of our favorite stars as they hit the red carpet at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards. It’s our first taste of Hollywood glamour in the new year, the first major awards show, prefacing the Oscars, Grammys and Emmys. I’m of course, excited to see what dresses Marion Cotillard and Penelope Cruz choose for the occasion, as well as how they wear their hair and how they accessorize their looks. One young star I’ll definitely be looking out for is Rose Byrne, Glenn Close’s co-star in the stellar FX series Damages. Byrne is nominated for an award in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television category, alongside Chloe Sevigny (HBO’s Big Love), Jane Adams (HBO’s Hung), Jane Lynch (FOX’s Glee) and Janet McTeer (HBO Films’ Into the Storm). Harry Josh, John Frieda International Creative Consultant, will be styling her hair for the evening — and he was kind enough to give us the scoop on what we can expect to see and how he’s been preparing her hair for the big night.

To prepare for the awards ceremony, Josh has been tending to Byrne’s tresses for the past couple fo weeks. Last week, he gave Byrne a deep conditioning treatment so as to hydrate her hair, add body, and smooth out the hair’s texture. He also gifted Byrne with John Frieda’s Luminous Color Glaze Clear Shine, and prescribed that she use it a minimum of three times this week. “This formula is the perfect solution for those looking for the benefits of in-salon glazing at home,” Josh says of the product.

So how will Byrne be wearing her hair? Well, we won’t know for certain until she hits the red carpet, but Josh revealed that he’s thinking “sexy with messy waves.” I don’t know about you gals, but my curiosity has definitely been piqued!
