On the heels of launching its limited-edition Jean-Paul Gaultier line, Target is now unveiling a new collaborative collection with Liberty of London that includes everything from home decor accents like throw blankets, table lamps, and pillows to kitchen essentials like dish sets, teapots, coffee cups, and ceramic storage canisters; gift options like stationery sets and scented candles; gardening tools like watering cans, ceramic planter and gloves; and women’s and kids’ apparel. In keeping with the British brand’s reputation for producing whimsical, modern, bold prints and graphics, each of the pieces in the collection features cheerful artwork — whether it’s peacock feathers against a teal backdrop (as pictured in the mug above), back-and-white floral prints in varying sizes (as with the dish set pictured at top), or mosaic-like prints in paisley-esque motifs.

Florals abound in the collection, and yet the sheer variety of blooms depicted, as well as the amount of color and size options available for these floral motifs, means there’s something for everyone: from those with a country chic sensibility to those with a more mod aesthetic. I personally love the black-and-white print with large sunflowers, hydrangeas, and daisies (used for such items as a teapot and a melanine tray), as well as the print on the salad plate pictured at top (an all-over print of white daisies with pops of yellow along the center of each tiny bloom), and the pattern featured on the yellow magenta salad plate (pictured above, third from top), which consists of a white Chinese hibiscus among a group of tropical leaves.

In terms of the pieces in the collection, I was most smitten with the home decor offerings — particularly the tableware and the kitchen knick-knacks, like the ceramic canisters in which you can store anything from sugar to flower to coffee and the jaunty teapots. And did I mention most pieces fall under the $20 range? Score!
