Pacifica founder Brooke Harvey-Taylor associates the aroma of star jasmine with her beachside Southern California neighborhood so, as a nod to the place she calls home, Harvey-Taylor just added the California Star Jasmine scent to Pacifica's fragrance roster. The packaging, meanwhile, borrows the vivid colors associated with John Van Hamersveld's 1966 The Endless Summer poster, with gradient horizontal strips of salmon pink, sunset orange, and coral red. White star jasmine buds and seagull shapes, meanwhile, are emblazoned over this sunset-like backdrop, completing the retro, beach-y, surf-inspired aesthetic.
