Boys love their cartoons — and we're not just talking about the pre-teen and under set. Give most men the option to do so, and they'll plop down on their couches with a big bowl of Fruity Pebbles and laugh with their animated friends on the TV screen. That's why the folks at the Cartoon Network have dominated the adult, late night cartoon market with their Adult Swim programming, which includes such bewilderingly popular shows as "Assy McGee," an irreverent cop parody centered on a character whose silhouette consists of two legs leading up to an enormous rear end (in place of a head), with a gun holster propped off one butt cheek. While "Assy McGee" may be too crude for some gals, "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" keeps men and women alike in stitches. In every episode, the ramshackle crew of fast food characters (Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad) encounters new adventures. At one point, they fought crime, but they dropped out of the biz once they realized it wasn't profitable and have since been loitering and generally acting a lot like animated versions of Jay and Silent Bob.

Apparently, the folks at Casio were seduced by Master Shake's shimmy because they just unveiled a new co-branded version of their Casio G-Shock DQ6900AS-8 model that celebrates the quirkiness of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" and fuses it with the urban-flavored, rugged durability associated with G-Shock watches (i.e. shock resistance, water resistance to 200 meters, a multi-function alarm, a timer, a back light, a stopwatch function, and more).

Conceived by Adult Swim designers Brandon Lively and Jacob Escovedo, the G-Shock x Adult Swim x Aqua Teen Hunger Force was inspired by the simple, icon-based cover art of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume 6 DVD cover art. The watch, then, features a white case and strap, a hot pink dial with a digital display, and the "AHTF" logo at the top of the hot pink dial. The band, meanwhile, features a pattern made of small shapes based on the AHTF characters. Another cool feature: at the press of a button, the watch will display the character Ignignokt, an alien with a bossy demeanor who often tests the Aqua Teen crew's patience.

The limited-edition watch is currently available at select stores and at the Adult Swim shop (www.adultswimshop.com) for $200.
