An Ode To Jean-Michel Cazabat’s ODA Booties
When platinum-haired, Grammy-winning rapper, actress, and fashion trendsetter Eve — formerly a spokesperson for MAC‘s Viva Glam VI campaign alongside burlesque star Dita Von Teese, rock icon Debbie Harry, and actress/singer Lisa Marie Presley — set foot inside New York’s Museum of Modern Art for a screening of L’Amour Fou on May 1st, all eyes must have gravitated down, focusing on her twinkle toed steps. E-V-E chose to finish off her demure ensemble — a black satin, ankle-length jumpsuit with a leather, bustier-like trim along the upper edges of the bodice worn under a cropped, cocoon-like ivory jacket with slightly balloon-ish sleeves — with some requisite rock glam accessories: a twisted chain necklace with encrusted clear crystals; a black, envelope-shaped clutch with brass, gold, and gunmetal studs and spikes along the top flap; and the crowning piece: the above-pictured Jean-Michel Cazabat ODA Booties.
Part of Cazabat’s Fall 2011 collection, these platform booties feature a sexy peep toe, hefty covered platform, textured stingray-esque leather along the heel an quarters, and and tons of embroidered, glossy black beads, pyramid-shaped studs, and treacherous conical spikes along the suede uppers.
How could these NOT blow your mind?
