Jessica Runway Style Nail Colour Collection — Sirens, Nymphs, And Temptresses Galore!
Iridescence. That’s the unifying concept in the new Jessica Runway Style nail lacquer collection ($7.50 each at JessicaCosmetics.com), which incorporates six colors ranging from Seductress, a deep, luminous magenta, to Goddess, a glistening, nacreous white shade.
All of the lacquers were anointed with alluring names that underline their bewitching powers. Aside from Goddess and Seductress, then, there’s Coquette, a stormy gray with baby pink, white, and silver micro particles that lend it a pearly iridescence; Enchantress, a creamy cantaloupe orange with silver, pink, and white glimmer; Alluring, an opalescent, sheer baby pink with purple, blue and lilac glimmer; and Temptress of the Sea, a nude-ish peach shade with gray, pink, and violet undertones to lend it an iridescent sheen.
Below, you’ll find close-ups of the Coquette, Temptress of the Sea, and Goddess lacquers, as well as pictures showing how they look on nails. Will these iridescent colors seduce you? Read on and see!
JESSICA COQUETTE NAIL COLOR
Gray nails have been all the rage for a few seasons now, which is why so many nail lacquer companies have flirted with the moody shade. Zoya, for example, released Dove, a muted, creamy, putty-esque gray that feels ethereal and divine. China Glaze set sail earlier this year with its Pelican Gray shade, part of its nautical-themed Anchors Away collection. And now Jessica has joined the game with this iridescent, slightly sheer shade that resembles a freshwater gray pearl. The Coquette shade’s luminosity is precisely what makes it distinct from other gray and silver shades — and what makes it great for summer when you want everything to glisten and glow.

JESSICA GODDESS NAIL COLOR
Have you ever seen a mantle of fresh snow, how each ice crystal reflects oncoming light, creating a magical effect? Well, that’s the type of look you get when you apply a few coats of Jessica Goddess onto your nails. Like a cultured pearl, this incandescent white will lighten up your life. JESSICA TEMPTRESS OF THE SEA NAIL COLOR
The most popular ballet slippers are a peachy nude shade that seems to elongate dancers’ stems by mimicking their flesh tones. This color reminds me of ballerina shoes, mixing together a creamy, golden pale peach hue and a sandy nude shade. But it’s the iridescent magenta, silver, and white glitter particles in the formula that transform this shade into an oceanic treasure that evokes shells formation, making the Temptress of the Sea moniker all the more fitting. My one caveat: I had the most trouble with this shade in terms of it clumping. I actually had to try applying it three times before I finally managed to achieve a clean, sleek manicure. Once the deed was done, however, I did appreciate the uniqueness of the color.
