Pacifica Perfume Founder Brook Harvey-Taylor Makes Her QVC Debut Today!

Eco-friendly, paraben- and phtalate-free, purse-sized perfume sprays, body butters, pocket-ready solid perfumes, and candles in scents like Hawaiian Ruby, California Star Jasmine, Lotus Garden, Brazilian Mango Grapefruit, Tahitian Gardenia, French Lilac, Tuscan Blood Orange, Mexican Cocoa, and Thai Lemongrass capture the nature-loving, free-spirited vibe of Pacifica Perfume. Having studied aromatherapy while attending college in Oregon, Pacifica founder Brook Harvey-Taylor has spent most of her life experimenting with the creation of natural scents, transforming herself into a modern-day alchemist, one with a perspective informed by her love of traveling, surfing, and outdoors adventures, as well as her dedication to co-existing harmoniously with the environment. Perhaps it’s this profound respect for the treasures found in nature — exquisite juiciness of fruits like orange and guava, or the understanding of the calming effects of woods like sandalwood, or the feminine allure of flowers like gardenia — that makes Pacifica such a lovable brand (check out our review of the California Star Jasmine Body Butter or our piece on their new-and-improved body butters for proof positive of our loyalty to these delicious moisturizers).

Today, August 1st, Brook Harvey-Taylor will be making her on-air debut on QVC at 2 p.m. EST (11 a.m. PST). Not only will she be introducing herself and her brand to viewers, but she’ll be taking questions live. The best news for all of us Pacifica junkies: she’ll be unveiling the new Island Glow collection.

As its name suggests, the Island Glow collection aims to give skin a sun-kissed look using mineral pearls and pigments, while nourishing, exfoliating, and softening skin with natural ingredients like coffee, argan, shea, coconut, sugar and sea salt.

The collection includes: the Island Glow Kona Coffee & Sugar Whole Body Scrub ($28 at PacificaPerfume.com), which includes exfoliating sea salt and sugar grains, hydrating coconut oil, and firming coffee extract; the Island Glow Coconut Crushed Pearl Luminizing Body Butter ($24 at PacificaPerfume.com), which hydrates, protects, and softens the skin with argan oil, coconut, and tamanu, while also giving it a hint of shimmer; the Island Glow Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Butter ($24 at PacificaPerfume.com), which also relies on coconut, argan, shea butter, and other fatty acid-rich, vitamin-packed natural ingredients to strengthen and nourish skin, but which makes skin appear more tanned for a honey-esque glow; the Island Glow Coconut Pearls Luminizing Lip Quench ($9 at PacificaPerfume.com), an emollient lip balm with a sheer, pearly finish; and the Island Glow Body Beautiful Kit ($24 at PacificaPerfume.com), which includes travel-sized versions of all four key products.

I’m waiting on samples from the Island Glow collection so I can share my thoughts with you gals after I’ve tested them out but, in the meantime, make sure to tune into QVC at 2 p.m. EST to learn more about Pacifica!
