On This Week’s Agenda: Lauren Merkin Sample Sale in NYC!

Even if you endure a Manic Monday, as Susanna Hoffs would put it, there are some fun days in your immediate future. The Lauren Merkin sample sale kicks off on Tuesday, August 14th, with an assortment of shoulder bags, clutches, cross-body bags, and accessories at up to 70% off. From Aug. 14th through Aug. 16th, stop by the Lauren Merkin Showroom (231 West 29th Street, Suite 201, between 7th and 8th Avenue) in New York City to take advantage of the savings.

Among the pieces up for grabs, you’ll find the Lauren Merkin Diana, pictured at top in beige washed leopard, a sassy pouch-like design with pintucked sections to create a ruched effect and a triangular top flap ($90 from $225). Measuring 9.5″ in width and 5″ in height and featuring a 22″-long chain shoulder strap, the Diana is itty-bitty enough to fit in your hand but its shoulder strap allows you to wear it, hands-free, during the day. Another great find is the Lauren Merkin Georgie Clutch, shown second from top in platinum lizard, an envelope-shaped clutch with a ruffled trim along the top edge adding a bit of flamenco-esque drama and a coquettish femininity. Measuring 10″ in length and 5″ in height, the Georgie will be available for $110, more than half off its original $295 price tag. Third from top, meanwhile, you’ll find the classic Lauren Merkin Caroline, a streamlined, sleek, envelope-shaped clutch with a rectangular top flap, a hidden magnetic snap closure, and an inside zippered pocket. Shown in a versatile cream-and-black metallic cobra pattern, the Caroline measures 11.5″ in width and 5″ in height. Originally $275, the Caroline will bear a price tag of $110 during the three-day sample sale.

This is only a small sampling of what you’ll find at the sale, where serious deal seekers will even find a bargain bin filled with pieces starting at $30. For more information, call 212.239.2459.
