Lulu Guinness Designs and Auctions Two Minnie Mouse Must-Have Bags on eBay

With London Fashion Week in full swing, British handbag designer Lulu Guinness has unveiled two  exclusive Minnie Mouse-themed designs, part of a collaboration with with Disney: the first a larger, shaped clutch replete with polka dot motifs and Minnie Mouse ears and a significantly smaller “Minnie” bag. Handmade in England, these one-of-a-kind Lulu Guinness bespoke Minnie Mouse Leather Clutch Bags  are currently being auctioned off as a set on Ebay.co.uk, with 100% of the proceeds from their sale going toward the British Fashion Council/Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation, an organization that fosters solidarity between film directors, fashion designers, visual artists, musicians, and fashion designers and creates opportunities for these artists, fostering the growth of the thriving London art scene.

Like Minnie herself, each of these Lulu Guinness clutches exudes a playful coquettish energy thanks to its sculptural shape, meant to replicate the cartoon character’s iconic visage — down to the round ears protruding from the surface of the rounded top edge and to the oversize red nappa leather bow between these ears. White polka dots cover the patent leather perimeter of each bag, including the ears, while supple black Italian leather adorns the center of the clutch, which is itself stitched to create a face-like silhouette that accentuates Minnie’s chubby cheeks and the heart-shaped outline of her forehead. The larger clutch measures 34cm from ear to ear and 31cm from bow to base, while the smaller clutch measures 22cm from ear to ear and 22cm from bow to base. The cutest detail: both clutches feature a brass-toned zipper pull shaped like a red lipstick.

Only two days remain until the auction’s end, and the highest bid is currently at £1,170.00, so if you want a chance to score this duo, visit Ebay.co.uk and place your bid.
