Warm Wishes — Stay Toasty In This Season’s Colorful Patterned Fur Coats

Remember when fur coats —whether real or faux —came primarily in neutral shades like gray, camel, and sable? Sure, Mary J. Blige has been rocking Big Bird-colored fur jackets for over a decade, but these outerwear choices swiftly got her landed on many a worst-dressed list (though, in truth, her styling decisions were questionable on many of these occasions). Now, however, fuzzy jackets and coats in technicolor shades are not only a common sight but they’re highly coveted winter wardrobe staples since they add a playful energy to any ensemble and sprinkle some color into the often drab winter landscape. This season, we’re also lusting after cozy toppers with elaborate patterns — from stripes to polka dots, stars, camouflage motifs, and color-blocked designs. Worn over jeans, knee-length pencil skirts, or black leather pants, these coats instantly make a statement, conveying the message that you’re bold, self-assured, and adventurous in your fashion choices.

Below, check out some of our favorite patterned fur coats!
