Tarte Poppy Picnic Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette, $38 at TarteCosmetics.com

The six sun-kissed, cheerful, understated eyeshadows in this limited-edition palette, along with the golden peachy pink blush hue at its center, are all formulated with Amazonian clay, which works to maintain the skin’s optimal moisture level, absorbing any excess grease and oil when necessary, hydrating as needed, and helping to nourish and soften the skin — and, as we all know, makeup looks that much better when your complexion is healthy and dewy!

Tarte Cosmetics LipSurgence Lip Creme, $24 each at TarteCosmetics.com

Summer is all about easy, on-the-go, no-fuss makeup and Tarte makes this goal attainable with its jumbo-pencil shaped LipSurgence Lip Cremes, which deposit a perfect dose of moisturizing, high-shine, semi-sheer color on lips. Available in four shades, the Tarte LipSurgence Lip Creme is formulated with maracuja oil, which is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin C to smooth and brighten the skin; jojoba seed oil, a natural emollient that leaves the pout supple and kissable; shea butter, a skin-softening agent that helps to retain elasticity; and vitamin E, which protects skin against free radical damage.

Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil, $18 at Sephora.com

This tinted, nourishing, argan oil-infused cream melts when dabbed onto skin, developing an oil-like moisture while depositing a veil of sheer, believable, perky color that livens up the complexion. Each creamy oil can be applied onto lips or cheeks, making it a multi-purpose wonder.

Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal, $15, and Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Complexion Clearing Clay, $15. Available at Sephora.com

Both of these dome-shaped sponges are made out of the roots of an Asian potato known as konjac which has the unique property of absorbing impurities and debris rather efficiently. When damp, these fibers soften and develop the squishy quality we associate with sponges, while retaining enough coarseness so as to gently exfoliate the skin. The black sponge is infused with bamboo charcoal, a natural detoxifying and antibacterial agent that helps to extract dirt, oil, and bacteria from deep within pores, thereby helping to prevent breakouts, give skin a more luminous finish, and minimize the appearance of pores. The light green sponge, meanwhile, is infused with natural green clay, which helps to soothe inflamed skin, remove dead skin cells, eliminate acne breakouts, and prevent future outbreaks.
