When designer Pamella Roland began envisioning her Spring 2015 collection, she turned to Tokyo for inspiration, embracing pastels that evoked the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, employing clean lines that felt very Zen, toying with jacket and dress silhouettes that subtly nodded to kimonos, adorning organza gowns with hand-painted koi fish motifs, fashioning graceful and romantic evening looks using delicate fabrics with cherry blossom prints, and cinching waists with or rope-style belts featuring mizuhiki knots.
